The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia was established in 2007 as a networking organization that unite interfaith women and youth to create and strengthen trust and cooperation for the future. Women School for Peace is a community-wide movement capable of transforming 1000 female leaders who are able to engage in decision making both at the family and community level through organizing. The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia is also actively involved in the development process through the drafting of the National Action Plan and the Local Action Plan on the Protection and Empowerment of Women and Children under Social Conflict. At a global level, AMAN Indonesia with its core knowledge has been recognized as an active member of the Asia Pacific Women's Alliance for Peace and Security, the International Civil Society Network (ICAN-WASL), the Global Network for Women and Peace Building (GNWP) and the Women Waging Peace (Inclusive Security).
